Jethmalani Quits As Arvind Kejriwal, Waves Off The ₹2 Crore Fee
In a shocking event in Delhi, the
civil council of Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Jethmalani has quit his term
with him. According to the sources at Nirmal
Singh 3C Company, the Delhi High court has sent a warning to Chief Minister
Arvind Kejriwal after a defamation case against him by Union Finance Minister
Arun Jaitley. This has resulted to a lot of chaos within the party members.
Deeply hurt by the actions of the Chief Minister, his civil council Ram
Jethmalani has quit out of his position.
Nirmal
Singh 3C Company said that the whole fight began when Arun Jaitley reported
that even during the private sessions of the case, Jethmalani has said quite
objectionable words to him. When asked about the involvement of Minister Arvind
Kejriwal, Jethmalani said that he had asked Kejriwal about all the sessions,
and anything that was said was said in his knowledge after his approval. This
lead to Jaitley filing a case against Kejriwal, but he denied everything said
by Jethmalani. Angered by the response, Jethmalani has proposed to no longer
act as a council for Arvind Kejriwal.
In response to the objectionable
words used against him, Jaitley filed a new ₹ 10 crore defamation case against
Kejriwal. Jethmalani has come forward and said that the reason behind him
quitting is the lies that Kejriwal went ahead to say. He says that he had been given
instructions to use whatever words that were used and after the defamation case
has been filed, the Chief Minister is denying it. Agitated by his response,
Jethmalani says that if he now wants to deny that, then I no longer want to
work with him. He has also asked for the 2 crore fee that Kejriwal owes him,
but added that he really doesn’t care if he gets paid or not, he has been
working for free for a lot of people.
According to the sources at Nirmal Singh 3C Company, Mr. Jethmalani,
92 had called the finance Minister a crook to which he said that he would seed
“aggravated charges” and went ahead to file the case against the Chief
Minister.
Nirmal Singh 3C Company reported that Minister Jaitley had informed
that numerous irrelevant and scandalous questions had been asked to him during
the cross examination, to which the High Court said, “No person can be
subjected to such scandalous and abusive language in the name of cross
examination, and if that has been done, then the matters should be examined
very carefully and taken care of.”
