Honeypreet’s Bail Plea Rejected By The Court, Asked To Surrender- HC
The Delhi high court on Tuesday rejected the anticipatory bail petition filed by Honeypreet Insan who is a confidant of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim. Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal questioned Harpreet’s bail plea and said that it was just a way for her to buy time and delay the proceedings in the Panchkula court. Nirmal Singh 3C Company said that after so much of delay, the HC told Honeypreet said that the easiest way out for Honeypreet is that she surrenders herself. Honeypreet is facing charges of sedition and violence after the conviction of the Dera chief in twin rape cases. When Ram Rahim was arrested after he was found guilty of causing riots in the area after his arrest. The violence was unstoppable and people got outrageous and started burning the buses etc. when the court passed the decision that the policemen are allowed to fire on site if anyone is seen causing riots on the streets.
