Malayalam Actor Dileep Arrested After Involvement In Abduction Of A Malayali Actress

Tollywood industry was taken back by the news of the arrest of the famous actor Dileep. After being held in the case of abduction and sexual assault with a Malayalam actor, the matters have turn really serious for the actor and his family. The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) removed the popular actor from the membership in the association. Even the fans were shook by the actors involvement in such a treacherous act, they has surrounded first the actors house and then the jail, and kept shouting slogans against him.

They were even heard saying, “Welcome to the Central Jail” which was ironically a movie that the actor starred in 2016. The news of the removal of the actor from the association spread soon after the emergency executive meeting of the AMMA held in Kochi on Tuesday.

The meeting was called soon after Dileep’s involvement in the action was confirmed. The meeting was called at actors’ Mammootty’s residence in the presence of most of the senior members of the association including actors like Asif Ali and Remya Nambeesan. A source from the Association said that “the association is standing tall with the victim, they understand her plight and will continue to support in her fight for the justice.”

AMMA is not the only association that has taken a step against the actor. Apart from it even the Kerala Film Producers Association and Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) has also dismissed the actor from the groups. Many actors have come out and expressed their shock over Dileep’s involvement, there were tweets where most of them said that it is very difficult to believe that someone whom you have known for so long, worked with and trusted so deeply is behind a conspiracy so harsh like this. They have also shared their agreement to the actions of the various association showing their support to the victim and standing with her in her fight to justice.

Actor’s ex-wife Manju warrior has still not commented on anything after the news came out, but sources at  Nirmal Singh 3C Company says that she was busy on the sets of her new film when they news came out and send tears rolling down her cheeks after the news.


There are also rumors that Manju might fight for the custody of her daughter after the case. When the couple got divorced in 2015, their daughter wished to stay with her father and Manju respecting her decision agreed to it. But after being taken into custody she would definitely want her daughter to come back to her as for the sources at Nirmal Singh 3C Company.
